deployment to Shanghai, China.
Description: This position will be responsible for representing
our customer during the installation of the Leap-X engine and integrated
propulsion system (IPS) on C919 aircraft. The next phase of the program is to
co-locate a team in Shanghai for the Joint Development Phase (JDP). The JDP
effort is expected to last through 2010. There is a possible 6-month extension
as well.
Requirements: The minimum qualifications for this assignment in an
engineering degree and significant previous experience in integration of engines
and nacelle systems on a new aircraft design. Desired qualifications include
direct experience with working at an airframe’s location.
Fluency in the French and/or Mandarin Chinese language is required.
Schedule: The on-site assignment in Shanghai, China is planned for
a minimum period extending from Mid-February 2010 through December 2010. A
six-month extension is possible.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Supervises, plans and directs the activities of the Aviation Quality Control Unit which ensures that the aircraft are maintained to the highest quality standards and ensures their continued airworthiness in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, and approved Company policies and procedures. JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent works in close coordination with the Colombia Air Force (COLAF)
and the Tactical Aviation Field Team (TAFT) to ensure safe reliable aircraft are
available to perform the mission; ensures a high availability rate and the
highest quality maintenance for all assigned aircraft. Supervise assigned
personnel to ensure strict compliance with the applicable policies, procedures
and regulations established by the Departamento de Aeronáutica Civil Colombiana
(ACC), US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Original Equipment Manufacturer
(OEM) and Military Standards. Provides leadership and technical assistance to
the COLAF in the planning and control of the flow of daily maintenance in

Requirements:
