JOB TITLE:	STRUCTURE ENGINEER

Must be a graduate Aeronautical Engineer from an accredited program with a working knowledge of aircraft parts design. Must have an understanding and workable knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and thermal installations and assessment procedures used for aircraft evaluation. Must have a thorough understanding of the methods for substantiating integrity of repaired aircraft structure.

Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in aircraft structure with two (2) years at supervisory (middle level) management. At least two (2) years of C-130 maintenance repair experience is desired. Experience and/or training in systems engineering and engineering modifications is desired.

The scope of work for the structural engineer will include but not be limited to the following:

a. Initiating design actions for defining repair schemes and identifying tools/ equipment to repair aircraft/equipment.

c. Designing AGE equipment for local manufacture such as transport dollies, stands, racks, etc.

d. Assessing aircraft damage and preparing technical evaluation in case of aircraft accident.

e. Assisting and training the RSAF staff in the operation of the aircraft damage recovery and engineering program.

i. Reports to the Contractor Program Director on administrative matters and to the Aeronautical Engineering Squadron Commander on technical matters.

j. Flys on military aircraft as required and performs temporary duty away from PAAB.

JOB TITLE:	AVIONICS TECH
LOCATION :	JEDDAH, KAHAB

Performs all aspects of aircraft and shop maintenance as required by pertinent technical directives to return aircraft avionics systems and components to a serviceable condition. Performs on the-job training requirements for assigned trainees.

A minimum of four (4) years Avionics maintenance experience. Skill level must be comparable to USAF ‘7’ level Aircraft Avionics Systems Technician or the US Navy/Marine Corps equivalent. Candidate must have no physical handicaps that might impair or restrict job performance. Must be fluent in English, free of speech impediments and capable of having his voice heard and understood during work and training activities. Must possess normal color vision.

Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies and overhauls aircraft avionics systems and components using appropriate military and commercial directives. Must possess skills equivalent to a 9-level technician and be knowledgeable of administrative procedures and directive pertaining to aircraft maintenance operations. Knowledge of automated aircraft scheduling procedures and computer operations is mandatory. Must be knowledgeable of the maintenance management system; AFM 66-1, 00-20 series technical orders, AFR 50-23 or RSAF equivalents.

Five years experience in the aircraft maintenance scheduling field is mandatory. Two of the five years must be in the Plans and Scheduling function of an aircraft maintenance activity. C-130 experience is highly desirable. One year of automated aircraft scheduling experience is mandatory.

b. Analyzes blueprints, sketches and specifications to determine layout operations and set-up for machining operations.

c. Manufactures and reworks machined parts using standard lathes, mills and related equipment. Measures broken or worn parts using calipers, gauges and micrometers. Draws working sketches, consults shop drawings, selects materials, determines machine and hand tools required, and plans sequence of operations.

d. Assembles and fits machine parts. Performs assembly of machining, castings and forgings.

e. Maintains hand and machine tools. Performs required adjustments, sharpening, and tooling maintenance.

b. Assists Shop Chief with management of shop production effort. Provides technical guidance to technicians and ensures timely work completion.

c. Prepares aircraft sheet metal layouts and design templates. Works from drawings, identical parts, or from brief statements of general requirements. Performs necessary preparations for forming operations.

d. Performs aircraft sheet metal forming operations and designs forming dies. Performs machine set-up and determines need for repair or modification of dies.

e. Fabricates and repairs assets associated with standard aircraft structural repair operations, including panels, skins, bonded surfaces, flexible control cables, and metal tubing.

g. Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the Structural Repair Shop.

Knowledge of base supply policies and procedures, stock and inventory control, accountability and responsibility, and principles of property accounting is mandatory. A secondary education is desirable. Completion of a basic inventory management course is mandatory.

2 years experience in inventory management is mandatory. Experience should include planning and scheduling of inventory management activities, plus the use of manual or automated system to provide: term and monetary accounting; determination of allowance; fund control; inventory and stock control.

a. Collects and maintains maintenance data, reviews data for significant trends, and isolates and identifies areas requiring further investigation or study.

Knowledge of electrical, Pneudraulics and mechanical principles that apply to aircraft, in-flight refueling and associated equipment is mandatory. Must be able to troubleshoot hydraulic systems, diagnose malfunctions, repair/overhaul system components and perform necessary component replacement unassisted. Completion of basic aircraft Pneudraulics system maintenance course is mandatory. Must have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance forms, records and reports to meet the job standards prescribed by the RSAF. Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write English clearly and distinctly. Completion of high school or equivalent is mandatory. Must be qualified and capable of providing necessary job training to the customer.

Minimum of five (5) years experience in the Aircraft Pneudraulics systems maintenance career field is mandatory. At least three (3) years of this experience must be on C-130 series and/or KC-130 aircraft. Must have experience in functions such as installation, modification or repair of aircraft and associated ground equipment, and associated hydraulic and electrical systems.

b. Performs periodic and special inspections of all aircraft hydraulic systems for proper operation and conformity to standards. Assists with inspection and repair of ground equipment hydraulic systems as required.

c. Removes and replaces all aircraft hydraulic components and verifies correct system operation.

d. Performs repair/overhaul of all removed hydraulic components within local capabilities.

e. Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the Hydraulic Shop.

Knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical principles that apply to fabrication, operation and maintenance of aircraft pressurization, oxygen, fire extinguisher and anti-icing systems and components is mandatory. Must be able to troubleshoot environmental systems, diagnose malfunctions, repair/overhaul system components and perform necessary component replacement unassisted. Completion of basic aircraft environmental system maintenance course is mandatory. Must have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance forms, records and reports to meet the job standards prescribed by the RSAF. Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write English clearly and distinctly. Completion of high school or equivalent is mandatory. Must be qualified and capable of providing necessary job training to the Customer.

Minimum of five (5) years experience in the Aircraft Environmental systems maintenance career field is mandatory. Three (3) years experience on the C-130 aircraft performing functions such as installation, maintenance or repair of environmental systems is highly desirable.

c. Reports to the Environmental Control Systems Shop Chief as an Environmental Control Systems technician.

b. Inspects and tests aircraft oxygen, air conditioning, cabin pressurization, anti-icing, air turbine motors, engine bleed air distribution, and fire extinguishing systems components.

c. Inspects, removes, repairs and replaces aircraft all environmental system components such as safety and flow control valves, sensing devices, governors, filters, heat exchangers and related components.

d. Performs repair/overhaul of all removed environmental system components within local capabilities.

e. Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the Environmental Control Systems Shop.

Knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical principles that apply to aircraft and associated ground equipment electrical systems, and use of blueprints, diagrams and technical publications relating to electrical systems operations is mandatory. Must be able to troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems, diagnose malfunctions, repair/overhaul system components and perform necessary component replacement unassisted. Completion of basic aircraft electrical system maintenance course is mandatory. Courses in basic electronics and mathematics is desirable. Must have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance forms, records and reports to meet the job standards prescribed by the RSAF. Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write English clearly and distinctly. Completion of high school or equivalent is mandatory. Must be qualified and capable of providing necessary job training to the Customer.

Minimum of five (5) years experience in the Aircraft Electrical Systems career field is mandatory. At lease three (3) years of this experience must be on C-130E/H series aircraft. Must be experienced in such functions as maintenance and repair of aircraft electrical and electronic systems and components.

c. Performs repairs on all electrical circuits that comprise the electrical system on the C-130 aircraft.

d. Adjusts, aligns and calibrates electrical systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency.

e. Fabricates wiring assemblies for replacement of damaged cabling and harnesses.

f. Performs required modifications and in-shop repair/overhaul of aircraft electrical components.

g. Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the Electrical Systems Shop.

JOB TITLE:	AIRCRAFT FUELS SYSTEM TECHNICIAN
LOCATION :	JEDDAH, KAHAB

Knowledge of aircraft fuel systems operation and internal fuel tank hardware such as interconnects, lines, valves, gauges, pumps and other attachments, sealing material characteristics and rubber products associated with fuel cell maintenance is mandatory. Must be able to troubleshoot fuel systems, diagnose malfunctions, affect necessary repairs, and perform in-shop repair of C-130 auxiliary bladder cells. Completion of basic aircraft fuel systems maintenance course is mandatory. Must have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance forms, records and reports to meet the job standards prescribed by the RSAF. Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write English clearly and distinctly. Completion of high school or equivalent is mandatory. Must be qualified and capable of providing necessary job training to the Customer.

Minimum of five (5) years experience in the Aircraft Fuel Systems maintenance career field is mandatory. At least two (2) years experience on C-130E/H series or KC-130 aircraft is preferred. Must have experience in the operation, installation and repair/ overhaul of aircraft fuel systems.

b. Inspects fuel systems and diagnoses malfunctions on such systems as integrally sealed tanks, fuselages, fuel cells and external tanks.

c. Locates fuel leaks by visual inspection or by removing closure panels and tracing leaks using standard leak detection procedures.

d. Disassembles, reassembles, repairs, replaces/installs components such as manifolds, interconnects, valves, pumps, and attachments.

f. Repairs integral tanks and conducts tests on installed or repaired equipment.

g. Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the Fuel Systems Shop.

b. Prepares aircraft for maintenance and flight operations, to include ensuring proper servicing, relocation and configuration.

c. Configures aircraft as required to enable completion of specialist inspection and associated maintenance requirements.

d. Performs preflight, thruflight and HSC inspections as specified in applicable Inspection Work Cards on C-130 aircraft.

e. Performs on-aircraft engine runs to determine engine performance (if qualified).

f. Returns aircraft to service, to include necessary servicing and preparation of aircraft for flight.

g. Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for RSAF personnel.

Knowledge of procedures involved with the inspection, removal, disassembly, testing servicing, troubleshooting, modification, repair and replacement of modular components and related systems for GTC/APU and T56/D22A engines is mandatory. Must have the ability to work unassisted in all sections of the Engine Shop. Must be able to teardown and recondition QEC Kits, perform modular replacement of engine compressors and turbines, and build-up T56/D22A engines. Completion of T56 Engine Basic Engine technical School is desirable. Must have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance forms, records and reports to meet the job standards prescribed by the RSAF. Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write English clearly and distinctly. Completion of high school or equivalent is mandatory. Must be qualified and capable of providing necessary job training to the Customer.

Minimum of five (5) years experience on the T56 engine is mandatory. Three (3) years experience on the C-130 aircraft is highly desirable.

b. Performs all GTC-APU and T56 engine maintenance to specified C-130 standards.

c. Removes and replaces GTC/APU and T56 engines on the C-130 aircraft and performs required repairs and functional tests.

d. Performs engine teardown and build-up, to include QEC removal and installation.

e. Performs on-aircraft and test cell engine runs to determine engine performance.

f. Performs all adjustments, alignments, rigging and calibration of engine torques and related propeller components to achieve maximum operating efficiency.

h. Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the Engine Shop.

Knowledge of procedures involved with the inspection, removal, disassembly, testing servicing, troubleshooting, modification, repair/overhaul and replacement of aircraft propellers, components and related systems is mandatory. Must be able to troubleshoot propeller systems, diagnose malfunctions, teardown and build-up propeller, and replace any component required unassisted. Completion of a 54H60-117 Propeller Technical School is desirable. Must have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance forms, records and reports to meet the job standards prescribed by the RSAF. Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write English clearly and distinctly. Completion of high school or equivalent is mandatory. Must be qualified and capable of providing necessary job training to the Customer.

Minimum of five (5) years experience on the 54H60-117 propeller is mandatory. Three (3) years experience on the C-130 aircraft is highly desirable.

c. Removes and replaces propellers on the C-130 aircraft and performs required repairs and functional tests.

d. Performs propeller teardown and build-up, to include removal and installation of associated components.

e. Operates propeller and engine controls during engine run-ups to determine propeller serviceability.

f. Performs all adjustments, alignments, rigging and calibration of engine torques and related propeller components to achieve maximum operating efficiency.

g. Performs periodic inspections to determine and maintain propeller serviceability.

h. Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the Propeller Shop.

Knowledge of standard non-destructive inspection techniques and procedures applicable to aircraft maintenance. Must be thoroughly familiar with eddy current, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, dye penetrant, X-ray and visual inspection methods. Completion of an approved Non-Destructive Inspection course is mandatory. Must have a working knowledge of aircraft maintenance forms, records and reports to meet the job standards prescribed by the RSAF. Minimum of five (5) years recent aircraft non-destructive experience is mandatory. Three (3) years experience on the C-130 aircraft is highly desirable.

c. Sets up and operates portable and stationary non-destructive inspection equipment.

f. In the performance of assigned work, uses assigned X-ray, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic equipment. Utilizes radiographic, ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle, dye penetrant and visual inspection methods.

h. Conducts Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the NDI Shop.
