Work Location:
This position shall be based in Reston, VA, with up to 50% travel to Afghanistan.

Role and Responsibilities:


The Operations SME will interact directly with unit Commanders and customers’ Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Operational Integration Centers (COIC) during the development of intelligence products that respond to Division or MEF Requests for Support (RFS). Operations SME will actively coordinate the support packages provided to meet unit and subordinate element operational requirements.

Required Attributes:


This position requires a minimum ten years experience in military operations assignments (preferred minimum military grades of E-6/W-2/O-3). Minimum requirement for education level is a high school diploma. Minimum security clearance required is TS, with ability to qualify for SCI.

This is a full time position available for immediate hire.

Job Qualifications:


i. Be deployable to the required theater of operations.
ii. Wear uniforms as prescribed by the supported unit commander.
iii. Bear arms as prescribed by the supported unit commander.
iv. Bachelor of Science or Arts degree from an accredited college or university (desired).
v. At least ten years experience in increasingly responsible positions in one or more military, academic or defense industry functional areas.
vi. Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.

Job Description:


i. Possess experience at tactical formations – Brigade and up. Multiple combat, combat support and combat service support disciplines may be required or equivalent academic or defense industry functional areas.
ii. Identify counter-IED capability gaps and provide recommendations on potential solutions.
iii. Integrate emerging counter-IED technologies into current tactics, techniques and procedures and disseminate new TTPs as required.
iv. Interface with Combatant Commands, joint organizations, and OGAs on actions related to Joint IED Defeat initiatives.
v. Assist in identification, training, and integration of IED Defeat countermeasure technologies.
vi. Provide updates as required to JIEDDO OPS to ensure relevance of the JIEDDO strategy and the joint counter-IED Common Operating Picture.
vii. Provide support for the execution of JIEDDO strategic actions supporting the integration of multiple Joint IED Defeat solutions throughout DoD.
viii. Provide Operations Records Management capabilities.
ix. Assist in the analysis of COCOM Requests for Forces and approved deployment orders with respect to COCOM counter-IED support requirements using available Service automation systems.
x. Assist in the development of counter-IED support policy and agreements with foreign partner nations in coordination with the appropriate DoD and State Department processes.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in removal from the contract.

Course Instructor - Digital Collection System

 

Job Description

 

Provide instruction and training in support of customer training objectives. Assist training officer as needed with curriculum development or modification, evaluating the effectiveness of training activities, and maintaining records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.

 

Required Skills
Proficient with digital camera, digital video, GPS, and Falcon View. Familiarity with and recent experience using Photoshop, Autosketch, and video editing software. Subject matter expertise in MS Office.

 

Required Experience
Experience as a platform instructor. Preferred prior Special Operations or law enforcement operational experience employing digital collection and technical surveillance equipment.

Special Reconnaissance SME

 

 

A & B Training & Recruiting, LLC is currently seeking Special Operations Reconnaissance Personnel for full-time positions. Must possess a Secret clearance and have recent and relative experience in surveillance and reconnaissance operations. Candidates should have experience in the Special Operations community.

Experience should be in one or more of the following fields:

Special Operations Training Officer

 

Provide instruction and training in support of customer training objectives.  Special Operations Training Officer provides curriculum development or modification, evaluates the effectiveness of training activities and maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.  Principal duties are as the Digital Collection Systems and Special Operations subject matter expert.

Required Skills

·  Confers with project leader to determine training objectives and needs.

·  Creates, writes and edits digital collection training program, including outline, handouts, exercises and pre/post tests.

·  Must demonstrate basic knowledge and have recent experience in the following digital collection systems areas:

o Digital photography

o Digital video/manipulation

o MS Windows, MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel

o Garmin GPS

o FalconView

o Premier Pro

o Photoshop CS4 such as exposure settings, depth of field, panoramic, cropping/straightening photos, annotating photos and sharpening.

o Autosketch 9 or higher; including scaled and non-scaled sketching.

o Audio editing software

·  Ensures all equipment and laptops are in working order pre/post training, tracks damage, arranges for repair, and coordinates with office manager to track inventory and prepare for shipping prior to training session.

·  Acts as back-up to director of training in handling distribution of workload and schedules.

·  Travels to various locations to present training.

·  Presents training to groups of people.

·  Conducts Special Operations training as needed.

·  Ability to transport (lift/move) Pelican Cases weighing 20 to 50 lbs.

Required Experience

·  Must possess a Secret Clearance.

·  Minimum of two years as a platform instructor, certification preferred.

·  10+ years of experience Special Operations or Law Enforcement equivalent conducting surveillance operations.

·  18F experience

·  Supervisory experience

·  Special Reconnaissance experience

·  Formal School Instructor Course or equivalent.

·  Adobe Certification - preferred.
